Orientation Services and Temporary Accommodation

Relocation Services Australia can identify and secure temporary accommodation to suit the relocatee and family. We have alliances with a number of excellent accommodation providers around the country. Feeling comfortable and welcome on arrival is an important component of the relocation experience.

Once landed and settled the transferee and family are given an overall familiarization of the area with maps and information. Relocation Services Australia will then organise a time suitable to take the clients on an area orientation tour. Our services include:

• Information package and maps given upon arrival noting Emergency numbers, local hospitals with their address and phone numbers, utility numbers, places of interest in the area such as playgroups, child care. Local train bus or ferry timetables as applicable. Information on Internet providers
• Tour of the local area and the city noting points of interest, social and sporting venues and local community facilities eg shopping facilities, local transport
• Tour of local schools or those chosen in other areas noting transport facilities
• Trip to the local shopping centre or precinct to assist with the opening of bank accounts, Mobile phone stores and get any necessary supplies eg child car seat
• Indicate where Department of Transport offices are and requirements for change of Driving Licence
• Time permitting arrange a lunch in the City gardens for the family
