Working with the HR department or dedicated Relocations Manager, RSA will identify the requirements for a particular case and will  put together a plan of action to maximise the time of the relocatee with their needs.

Property Search Services:

Rental Properties

• Knowledge of the relocatees allowance
• areas of interest and requirements eg proximity to work and schools
• housing requests such as swimming pool, large yard
• Research utilising the internet real estate services and Real Estate partners
• Accompanied visits to identified properties
• Liaison & negotiation with Real Estate agencies to secure a Lease either with relocatees or company
• Advise on necessary documentation
• Pick up of keys & condition report from Agency to handover to relocatees
• Assist with Utilities connections
• Meet with Relocatee on date of arrival and do a handover

Furniture:

• Obtain quotes for required rental furniture
• Organise for delivery of rental furniture
• Set up the house with the furniture including all kitchen ware in place, beds made up, bathrooms set up and all ready to move into
• Pantry shop (if requested)

Temporary accommodation:

• Work with HR to arrange and book temporary accommodation dependent upon location of workplace, transport requirements, duration of stay and if family are accompanying the relocatee

Removal Companies:

Relocation Services Australia  recommends the services of 2 companies that will service both the International and National regions. Please contact RSA for contact details.

 
Business Concierge Services:

• Relocation Services Australia  works together with a dedicated and professional Business Concierge service who will provide Lifestyle Management and Personal Concierge support

Medical:

Relocation Services Australia  will provide to the Employee  an information pack with the Emergency number for Ambulance, Fire and Police as well as information on hospital and local medical providers.

We will work with the HR department of Companies and Corporations to understand the other medical requirements of the employee eg private health insurance . This can be dependent upon the Visa the employee is in Australia on.

Visas:

Relocation Services Australia  has a relationship with registered Migration & Visa Lawyers in Brisbane for any advice relating to a relocatees Immigration and Visa Process.

A Global company we have a relationship with provides  a Migration Service from Sydney, which assists companies and individuals navigate Australian immigration law and advise on Immigration strategies.

Such services include:

• Identifying the most appropriate Visa option for the Client's specific need
• Keeping the Client updated on the latest changes to immigration law, policies and procedure and
• Liaising with other offices in the International network as required

Financial

Taxation:

Relocation Services Australia  has a relationship with and recommends the services of a global Taxation Company who will provide information and assistance with :

• Global mobility assistance
• Employees tax obligations
• tax briefings
• obtaining a TFN

Foreign Currency Transfers:

We utilise the services of a respected global foreign currency transfer company to provide:

• courteous expert staff to help every step of the way
• no commission charges
• access to competitive rates of exchange
• no transfer fees

Banking:

Whilst we don't recommend  any particular bank, we provide information on the Australian banking system including:

• Major banks
• Building societies
• How to open accounts
• Documentation necessary
• ATM's, accessing funds and fees
• Hours of operation

Driving in Australia

RSA will supply in an information pack a fact sheet regarding driving in Australia  which also contains  contact numbers and useful websites to visit.
We recommend that visitors to the country familiarise themselves with the Australian road rules and regulations  and direct them to this information.

Car Hire:

RSA can arrange car hire for pick up at the airport on arrival

Car Purchase:

In Brisbane RSA uses and recommends an Autobroker firm for the purchase of vehicles . This company search on  behalf of the purchaser for the vehicle identified and organises the  purchase the vehicle, arranges the necessary documentation and has it delivered directly the purchaser.

Insurances

Some companies self insure for transit purposes and then it is up to the employee to insure themselves once their own goods have arrived. Dependent upon Company policy we can provide information to your employee who the major insurers are and for what purposes e.g.

• Household Contents Insurances
• Vehicle Insurance

Pet Relocations

RSA will provide information  and contact details to your employee on companies that will relocate pets both globally and nationally.

For employees bringing pets to Australia people are advised to contact the Australian Quarantine  and Inspection service, AQIS, for all the rules and regulations for the importing of animals. AQIS will advise on the length of quarantine in Australia as this is dependent upon the country the pet is imported from and vaccination timing. Details can be found at:
